Welcome to Showell Elementary!

Showell Elementary is a Pre-K3 through 4th grade school located in a beautiful rural setting between the towns of Showell and scenic Ocean Pines, Maryland. We are just a stone's throw away from the magnificent beaches of Ocean City. Our brand new building offers a spacious media center, an interactive playground, two computer labs, high-speed wireless internet, and a variety of technologies to enhance student learning.

Our facility employs full-time art, English-language learner, speech, early intervention, music, and physical and special education teachers. We have a curriculum resource teacher, a full-time nurse, and an outstanding maintenance staff. Our enthusiastic staff is dedicated to providing the highest quality of teaching and learning. Each and every student has specific learning needs that we strive to meet. Showell has a strong PTA and many active, generous community organizations that provide financial and educational support.

Feb. 17 - Early Dismissal for Students: Professional Development
Feb. 20 - Closed: Presidents Day
Feb. 23 - Media Expo Gallery and Awards Night

After School Academy Session 2
Tuesdays - 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28
Thursdays - 2/9, 2/16, 2/23, 3/2

Special ASA event on 3/2. Families are encouraged to visit and see
the Drama Club's performance tentatively on 3/2 called,
"Twisted Fairytales and Nursery Rhymes." Time to be announced.
